Seasons for Growth
"It's OK to cry and it's OK to share your problems with
people....with the help and support of others in the
Seasons program, they didn't solve the problem...
they made it a whole lot easier to accept," says one
13 year old. Seasons for Growth aims to acknowledge
a person's loss and helps promote resilience through
supportive structures. Seasons for Growth helps us to
discover that we are 'not the only ones' grieving and we
also discover there are also other people whose family
has changed. The Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle
co-ordinates the Seasons for Growth program in the
Hunter. Companioning Young People Training: 21-22
November Newcastle; Companioning Adults Training:
25-26 July Newcastle. Exploring the Seasons of Grief
